Integration can expand its impact far beyond the page.

An author visit can be a meaningful experience all on its own—and for schools and organizations looking to deepen the learning, the experience can extend even further.

My children's books were created with opportunities for integration in mind, offering tools and practices that can support not only children, but also the adults who help shape the environments around them.

Through professional learning, an author visit, follow-up integration, and optional coaching, schools can create an across-generations experience that helps the skills within the books become part of the way their community learns, connects, and responds.

A Deeper Learning Experience Can Include Any or All of The Following Options:

Professional Learning

  • An interactive professional learning experience introduces staff to the skills and practices within the selected book, helping adults experience and understand the tools they will be supporting children in using.

Author Visit

  • Students experience the book and its message directly with Lindsey through an engaging, interactive author experience designed to make the learning meaningful and memorable.

Integration

  • Follow-up professional learning supports staff in moving from experiencing the ideas to intentionally integrating the practices into their classrooms, programs, and community.

Continued Coaching

  • Schools seeking deeper implementation may add coaching for individuals or teams to support continued practice, reflection, and integration over time.

Because when children and the adults supporting them

share the language, practices, and experience,

the learning has the opportunity to extend

far beyond a single author visit.
